Mary Monroe Davis Scholarship Program

"Better leaders for tomorrow come through better education today"
--Mary Monroe Davis

Mary Monroe Davis left an educational legacy to Yakima County. On her behalf, through the Yakima Valley Community Foundation, the Yakima Rotary Trust has established a scholarship program to assist residents of Yakima County who plan to continue their education in undergraduate study. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university of the student's choice.

The program is closed at this time. Return to this site in January to access the guidelines and application for the 2011 program.

This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America. Scholarship Management Services is the nation's largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin.

Applicants being considered for this scholarship must be a U.S. citizen and resident of Yakima County, Washington.
