Sempra Energy offers a scholarship program to encourage employees' children to continue their education through vocational training, college or a university after high school (upper secondary school) graduation.

Selection is based on both academic and non-academic criteria. Academic achievement is evaluated based on grade point average, rank-in-class and test scores. Non-academic evaluation includes leadership, community involvement, work experience, extra-curricular activities, educational aspirations, career goals, and appraisal(s).

This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America. Scholarship Management Services is the nation's largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals.

The 2016 program is closed. Please return to this site in the late fall of 2016 to access the 2017 program guidelines and application.
